Diagnose before replacing.
We train technicians to slow down, test the system, read the symptoms, and prove the problem before turning a repair into a parts-changing guess.
Internal training system behind the RightFirst standard
We don’t just hire technicians. We build them.
Dave’s Tech Academy is our internal training platform built to develop sharper HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and generator technicians serving Spartanburg and Upstate South Carolina. It connects structured education, field training, certification paths, safety awareness, and real troubleshooting exercises to the RightFirst standard.
Dave’s Tech Academy is our internal training system built to sharpen diagnostics, field habits, safety awareness, and real-world problem solving — the training behind the RightFirst standard.
Why the Academy exists
Dave’s Tech Academy was built to develop sharper technicians through structured education, field mentorship, service diagnostics, installation standards, quality craftsmanship, and code-conscious work.
The goal is not to teach a technician to guess faster. The goal is to build better habits behind air conditioning service, plumbing work, electrical service, and whole-home generator support.
Dave’s background in electrical, instrumentation, industrial troubleshooting, and high-stakes service environments shaped the way the Academy trains technicians: trace the issue, prove the failure, explain the options, complete the work cleanly, and stand behind it.
We train technicians to slow down, test the system, read the symptoms, and prove the problem before turning a repair into a parts-changing guess.
The Academy is not just about troubleshooting. It reinforces clean installation habits, safe work practices, service readiness, and workmanship that holds up after we leave.
Quality work has to be clean, safe, and explainable. That means building habits around code awareness, proper methods, customer communication, and RightFirst accountability.
